Medieval churches

Finland's medieval churches, together with castles are the oldest greetings from the past. Erected between ca. 1200 thru 1500, most of them still in use, they offer a unique experience with the wall and ceiling paintings, once depicting the whole history of mankind since the creation, sometimes serving as a warning to the parishioners with most frightening devil figures.
